What would you do to such dull hair?

I had DC2 6 months ago, I feel frumpy, am nearly 40 and my hair is dull and greying.

I want to treat myself to a change! Any ideas for cut/style/treatment? (Not sure I'm ready to dye it yet, but would consider most other things).

It's naturally very fine and straight. I never know what to ask when I go to the hairdressers so always end up with a straight cut, a few long layers, and some shaping around my face.

Would love some thoughts, as you are all so much more stylish than me!

Search curtain bangs! They're popular at the moment and grow out fast and may make you look more youthful ! X

Long hair is so versatile, try curling it or wear it up. The colour and condition looks fine, just trim.

Thanks @ctd11 I had no idea! I've googled it and some of the images look just like the sort of thing I'd want, others slightly less. I'll look into it!

@seensome that's the thing, I'm pretty hopeless... I don't even own anything that could be used to curl it. I'm hoping there are some cuts that would naturally give it some body/shape/movement

Yeah some are shorter and some are longer! Find a picture you like and just go with it maybe? Also I just use hair straighteners to curl my hair they work so much better than curlers in my opinion!
