A stupid question about going for a beauty treatment

I'm going for a back-head-scalp massage this afternoon and want to know whether they will expect me to turn up bare-faced? I'm going for lunch beforehand and would usually put some make-up on. Can I wear make-up and then take it off when I get to the massage place?

I'd keep my make up on. If they use oil in the massage, it might intefere with your foundation a bit round the hairline. If you wear it.

I've never had my make up taken off as part of this treatment.

For a back/head/scalp I've had make up on but very little as it can get smudged about - especially if laying face down for a massage
