Looking for straight denims (not too wide, not too tight)

Exactly as the title indicates! I am looking for perfectly straight jeans, that are not too tight, not too wide l, not too short and that are not boot cut, to wear with trainers or heeled sandals. If that helps I’m 5ft7 and very slim. Price range very broad, £20 to £200…
thank you

hi, I think I'd look at levis - the 501s or the 70s straignt
levis more levis and also Agolde have straight jeans although these are over budget. agolde

I've also seen the Raey jeans at Matches recommended - but I was looking earlier and the straight ones are out of stock I think.

@SoGassed How did I forget the good old 501… I’ll try these first and see if they fit. I love the look of the agold and they seem very comfortable but they look a bit short on the model although she is taller than me so might be ok.
thanks for these good recommendations

I'm just over 5'8 and agoldes are generally long enough for me. I also have some Paige jeans like these but they are skinnier than you'd want I think (I do wear a lot of jeans....)

Nitgel · 27/04/2022 20:41

I like levi slim 314 shaping jeans nice shape and flattering

Nitgel · 27/04/2022 20:45

Sorry straight 314

OliveTreees · 27/04/2022 21:59

@SoGassed I must try agoldes! Any idea which store would have the greatest choice and stock? I’ve seen they sell them at Selfridges, Harrods, Liberty, Trilogy…
@Nitgel Levi’s 314 looks good too but might be a bit too slim. I’ve got to go to Levi’s store anyway so might try it on along with the 501.

I know I have a pair of Paige somewhere I bought nearly 10 years ago, I need to dig them out, they might still fit the bill

Last question, how do Agolde size? Wondering if I should take a 26 or 27 (I’m a size 8). I fear the 26 might be too skinny which is not the result I want.
thanks again

The &other stories favourite cut are supposed to be good too.

Sorry to hijack OP but this is the exact shape Im after too - however I want some decent stretch. I find the rigid straight jeans become baggy and are very uncomfortable.

SoGassed · 28/04/2022 06:36

I have a pair of the favourite jeans from Other Stories too. I do like them. .
I would say that a 26 from Agolde would be fine - I'm a size 10 and wear a 27 or 28 from there.

I also think these from John Lewis look interesting - I haven't tried them though.
