Online shopping filters are annoying

Why is it that most websites (I'd say all but that's probably not true) don't give you the option of filtering OUT something you don't want to see.
I'm trawling one the cheapo sites for some low cost t-shirts, of which it sells thousands and thousands. I detest slogan t-shirts so it would be great if I could just tick a box in the filter the excludes slogan T's but shows everything else.
Of course, I could just tick the boxes for every other style and leave out slogan t-shirts, but on this site and many others you have to tick one then wait for the page to refresh before you can select another. You can't just tick all that you want to apply one go so it takes forever.
I know this is first world problems but it seems like this would be something they could apply with relative ease that would save me trawling through 5000 ugly t-shirts. This concludes my rant.

I agree. I’d like to be able to rule out anything grey, black or polyester. Also filter by rise for jeans. In an ideal world I’d be able to filter by length of top too.

Sometimes they don’t seem to have the info on the product page so not surprising you can’t filter. Be better if retailers spent more time generally on their websites and product descriptions.

Oh yes, definitely a filter for jeans/trouser rise. Handily this website does allow you to filter by top length. I was pleased to see the acknowledgement that we don't all want to be wondering around in highly unflattering crop tops because we thought we were buying something regular.

I tend to find online shopping quite tedious, mostly because there is too much choice and I don't have the patience to sift through so much stuff to find a couple of bits I like. If they could make it easier to narrow down things we do and don't want, I would personally be likely to spend a lot more money.

I'd also like width fitting for shoes and leg length for trousers. Plus fabric as I can't wear wool
