Lots of new and varied fits now, which is great, even my fave mid rise made a return, so something for all of us!
I don't wear jeans very often but keep a few pairs in the wardrobe. Had a trying on session today, taking stock of things, and gave the jeans a go. And noticed something I hadn't before : jeans that are wider at the calf/ankle make me look shorter and slightly wider over all.
Compared to some old skinnies I tried on this difference was really something.
At the end of the day there's nothing wrong with looking shorter or wider, but I suppose it depends how you'd like your silhouette to be. I always imagined I looked wider in skinnies, and thought a looser ankle 'balanced you out' but since comparing the looser fit to skinnies the exact opposite surprised me!
We are all built so differently that my post is possibly bollocks, but has anyone noticed the same?
