Formalwear for teenage boy

Looking for recommendations on where is good for teenager boys for wedding wear? My 14 year old wants to wear a shirt, waistcoat and slim fit trousers for an upcoming wedding - he’s about 5ft 8 and in the gangly phase! We looked in Next and a few similar high street places but everything was a bit baggy and loose and he wants it fitted. Thanks

I got my son two separate suits from Rocco Clothing. He was about 15 when I got the last one. His preference was slim fit too.

ASOS do some very slim fitting/ super skinny suits, and I was pleased with the one I got for my 15 year old (but 6'3) DS, and it was super cheap using one of their discount codes. Great range of sizes/lengths too

Primark do slim fitting suit stuff. And shirts that fit very slim teenage boys.

Next do skinny suits and online go up to 16 or do 28 waist and 34 jacket in mens

I don’t know if they ship to the UK, but my tall, slim 13YO wore these from Country Road along with a long-sleeved white linen shirt and casual blue cotton blazer from Boden to a wedding recently.

H&M might have something.

Friend of mine got a dinner jacket / suit from Primark for a very slim boy.

slaters? my ds2 is 5ft2,aged 11. i bought him a navy 3pc suit. The trousers are slim fit,and the length of them and sleeves jkt required tailored\altered.(in store, free service) All for £99. He looks fantastic in it(age, rapid growth spurt aware it'll be fairly ltd use)

FleeceNavidadfromtheSheep · 25/04/2022 04:32

Next, but order online. Everyone gets prom and 6th form suits there (bought as separates)as they offer different fits and lengths,

Autumn101 · 25/04/2022 08:33

Thanks all, can’t believe I didn’t remember Next online went up to 16! Stores near us only go to 12 so we’d just tried the men’s section

If it's just one wedding and he is mid-growth spurt would it be worth considering suit hire? Moss bros or similar?

Zara do good skinny fit clothes. My son is also a noodle and this is the only place we can get trousers for him
