Belt help

I’m absolutely clueless with accessories, but really need the following in my wardrobe and would appreciate any pointers, links to websites etc for:

1. a classic belt for wearing with jeans. Tan or something neutral.

2. belts I can use to finch in at the waist with dresses. Open to any colours.

can’t stretch to designer prices, but want to avoid ultra cheapo, throwaway style.

any ideas?

Try Charles Tyrwhitt or similar, they do very good belts, not too pricey either.I'd go with something in dark tan, classic and goes well with anything.
A red/ burgundy belt looks fab with navy and white/cream, either jeans, dress or over longish cardigan.
