Looking for some hair dye help! My partner taught himself balayage during lockdown with the help of Youtube so he can now highlight my hair. Have been using Jerome Russell BBlonde 40 developer and highlift bleach (links below) but colour is so so - some bits go really blonde but others go a bit straw coloured - kind of depends on if its virgin hair or previously dyed strands and also how much he applies (basically some bits look great but others are a bit orangey yellow). I've tried the Jerome Russell toner which is good but is a wash out on and Fanola hair mask but wondering if there is a colour that is a more natural ash blonde that I could use or a permanent toner to change the colour. Does anyone have a recommendation? I've seen Igora mentioned on here.
