Lip Oils or Similar on Older Lips?

I'm mid-50s and getting wrinklier...

I don't wear much make-up, but was wondering if a lip oil (or similar sheer formulation) would be useful for adding a bit of colour and moisture.

Does anyone of a similar age use a product that doesn't bleed?

I'd rather like to try a budget high-street range to see how I get on, but will spend on Clarins etc if anyone has a good recommendation. Cautions about products that are useless on an ageing face also welcome.

Thank you!

I’ve got the Burts Bees tinted lip balm. It’s great.

No Clarind prices either!

I got the Clarins lip oil as a GWP, but didn't get on with it. On another thread there are references to Avon Anew lipstick with serum being really good, around the 10 mark, but I've seen it is 8 if you order online.

My everyday lipstick is Revlon Shine in Dewy Peach. More of a glossy balmy texture than lipstick, and this shade is just the right colour to brighten up the face, even if not wearing any other makeup.

Burts Bees is always my go to

I think lip oils are distinct from lip balms to be honest, so it's not quite like for like.

Clarins are lovely but I use one from Revlon - kiss glow oil. It comes in various tints/colours and you can get it online from Boots as they have stopped stocking it in stores. It's £8 and soft but not greasy.

I love the Clarins one, really moisturises my lips and leaves a hint of colour too.
