Period Pants

Sorry - this is not really S&B question, but it is about clothing and I didn't know where else to post so please don't be too cross 🙂
Does anyone wear period pants without other san pro? Is that how you are supposed to wear them or should you always have tampon/pad/cup as usual?
Also any recommendations would be much appreciated!

On light day or when I think I might be due I only wear them but on heavier days I wear a cup too as I dislike the "gushing" feeling. But I do love them, give me such a secure feeling. I'm a big fan

I've got about five pairs now (modibody) of various suggested flows and I find most of the time I'm fine without additional sanitary products, though on heavy days they do feel full and if I was going anywhere I'd probably add a tampon for security. I tend to just have two super heavy days at start and rest is minimal though, so can switch from the ones that feel a bit like adult diapers to slimmer swim wear type ones quite quickly.

Yes I wear them alone. I use the M&S one and think they are brilliant!
