Want to get something as a gift. Not very stylish so a bit clueless

Any ideas?

Whats the occasion, do they wear jewellery, would they prefer gold, silver or something different.

Talulahey · 19/04/2022 10:17

It's a leaving gift for a teacher who has been a massive support to my DD who's been through some trauma.

I don't know her personally so don't really know her style. She seems quite young and stylish though

If you don't know her personal, don't buy her jewellery. Maybe a bunch of flowers, a nice card and a gift card to somewhere universal like boots or Amazon. The gesture would be much more appreciated. X

Astley Clarke have some lovely bracelets around that price point:

I'm getting her a bracelet, it's what DD wants to do.

Have you checked the school’s gift policy? There’s usually a limit on the value staff can accept, £100 may well be over it.

Wow, rude op!
Maybe people are thinking how awkward it might be for the teacher to receive a £100 gift... One which she might not like or be allowed to accept...

Teachers can’t accept that much !

GCAcademic · 19/04/2022 11:02

No, we’re not “fucking mental”, some of us just work in similar jobs where we wouldn’t be allowed to accept gifts of that value. It’s easy enough to find out how much this type of gift costs. I can’t accept anything costing over £20.

CheshireCats · 19/04/2022 11:03

And you are fking rude and aggressive @Talulahey

stressed2411 · 19/04/2022 12:08

Monica Vinader - super stylish and they come beautifully boxed. They also have 20% off atm with an Easter discount code

ClaireAJ22 · 19/04/2022 14:06

wow! ignoring all the judgement. There's a great selection at Auree Jewellery - a local SW business ran by a fellow mum. www.aureejewellery.com/collections/bracelets-bangles/

Pegasussnail · 19/04/2022 14:11

I think that's such a lovely gesture.
The chlobo bracelets are pretty and stylish
