Going out for dinner last night alerted me to the fact that I don't own the sort of coat that I would wear for a casual evening out when you just want something to put on over going out clothes to not be cold on the way there.
I'm thinking of something not too tailored, mid thigh length, maybe light wool or velvet, preferably with usable pockets but not essential. Normal or nice high street price, not high end or designer. Any ideas please?
