Bras. Larger sized bust brand recommendations

Enko · 18/04/2022 08:44

I am after brand recommendations for. Larger busted. Bras. I am an 36 E (yes ive been measured both rigby and peller and bravissimo)

I love Aubade as a brand but they are usually now not in my size.

I have never got on well with bravissimo own brand.

Like some Freya products
Some passionata and charnos

Most comfortable bra I ever had was from esprite but again rare they have my size.

I really dislike marks and Spencer bras find they dig in my side.

I love my r and p. Bras. But they are soooo expensive. I'd love to not spend 100+ and find a decent bra

And something that doesn't look frumpy

I

I still buy all of mine from the Debenhams Gorgeous range (online only now of course).

MadameFantabulosa · 18/04/2022 08:48

Fantasie.
Curvy Kate (but read the reviews, sometimes you need to go up a cup size)
Elomi are also good and comfortable.

Have a look on Brastop. I usually find that if one bra fits me in a particular make then the others will too.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 18/04/2022 08:50

I’m a 36G and like Fantasie

HerkyBaby · 18/04/2022 08:52

Gossard have some fabulously sexy bras in bigger sizes. I don’t wear anything else - great shape and control.

Bagelsandbrie · 18/04/2022 08:52

Fantasie illusion is my go to everyday comfort bra.

Enko · 18/04/2022 08:58

I have got some fantasie bras. Forgot about those.

I don't get on with gossard as a brand their straps always fall of my shoulders.

Looking at curvy Kate. And gorgeous. Ranges.. not sold on elomis styles..

Pour moi are the most comfortable bras I've ever worn

Enko · 18/04/2022 09:04

Oddly I was looking at pour moir bras and it was what made me post to see suggestions. Some of them are very pretty

I like Panache, eg Envy or Tango styles.

sammylady37 · 18/04/2022 10:17

I love fantasie bras. Elomi are comfortable and give good shape but I don’t like the look of them, they’re like scaffolding to me!

Dietcokeaddiction · 18/04/2022 10:34

Pour moi are mostly great. I've had a couple I didn't like as much but 90% of my bras in the last 5 years have come from there. They last pretty well as well.

CoffeeBeansGalore · 18/04/2022 10:40

Boux Avenue.
Believe it or not F&F, Tesco.

Enko · 18/04/2022 10:40

@sammylady37. Scaffolding is a great way to describe Smile

I will try a curly Kate and a Pour Moi. (And the Freya one I just.fell for) realised recently a lot mod my bras are really in. Need of replacement

I've just bought a load of bras at Bravissimo and Elomi was far and away my favourite. Can barely feel it on - doesn't look like scaffolding at all, it's really pretty.

I never wear my elomis when I’m expecting company! Only when I know I’m the only one who’ll see them

GoAShum · 18/04/2022 11:14

Prima Donna. I think they run a wee bit small so you might need to go up band/cup wise to get the best fit. They are amazing though. Great shape, very supportive, beautiful and comfortable.

GoAShum · 18/04/2022 11:15

They are quite dear but a bit cheaper than R and P.

silentpool · 18/04/2022 11:17

I have Simone Perele and Panache mostly. But my most comfortable are Triumph. Obviously not when someone else will see 😂

XingMing · 18/04/2022 13:02

Scrolled down to suggest Prima Donna and see I have been pipped to post. Bra Stop often has my preferred Deauville style in previous seasons colours.

MrOllivander · 18/04/2022 13:08

Elomi Matilda is one of my fave every day bras
I like all of their plunge styles TBH, they're just so comfortable on me

Doyouthinkeirsaurus · 18/04/2022 18:37

Empreinte best bras ever, although not cheap. I’ve tried every make,
32F but petite, so lots of bras come too far up at the side and can be seen at the armhole if wearing sleeveless tops and also hurt as they rub against the inside of my arms. Have never had this trouble with Empreinte. Go for half cup styles and look out for sales!

mdh2020 · 18/04/2022 18:43

Look at Bravissimo

Bippidee · 18/04/2022 19:00

Panache Tango are really comfy. I have pretty much every colour going! A caveat around the curvy Kate bras, they do come up small, compared to my trusty tangos, they were allegedly the same size, but were lacking a decent inch in band size and the cup sizes were really out. Have you tried the boob or bust site on FB, as they always have great advice too!

myveryloudsun · 18/04/2022 19:03

I'm 30GG and love Panache Clara bras. They're bloody amazing bras

woodhill · 18/04/2022 19:05

I love Panache bras too and have Clara
