Mom jeans

So I think it's time to get out of the skinnies and embrace mom jeans.

I'm 5'2", big waist, small hips, size 8/10 depending on the shop.

Any recommendations?

Marks and Spencer's have generous waist sizing and stretchy denim. I love them!

Although I like my wide leg jeans now. (Also m&s)

I am a similar size 8 and same height as you and love the Monki Kimomo jeans. They are very comfy and now in the sale Monki

I'm not into the mom jeans, OP. I like them but they wouldn't suit me. I have some straight leg jeans as compromise, though I don't really wear trousers. I'm glad to hear they might be behind the times, though I did see some teenagers wearing them this weekend.

Is that what we used to call hipster jeans too? I used to wear those with a crop top and my lovely navel piercing (long gone) on display.

I know we can wear anything we like, but can someone in their 30s+ wear the low rise and do you have any recommendations?

Thanks. Quite happy to be a bit behind the times. Will try M&S. I wouldn't have even thought about them.
