Navy jeans with black blazer

Found the best jeans (navy) and the best blazer (black) is it a no no to wear together? I think they look ok but I’m not sure I trust my judgement!

Before anyone asks, the jeans in black aren’t as nice and the blazer comes in black or hideous (for my colouring) pastel shades so I can’t even try that

I think it depends “how black” the jeans are if that makes sense. If they are really a shade of grey(!), it might work.

I think it depends what you wear under the blazer. White or black shirt ok, navy shirt matching jeans maybe not ok. Pinterest has lots of examples where it works

White t-shirt, black belt and shoes or white trainers should be ok.

I’d say fine if the top underneath is navy or black so very simple. Not an especially summery outfit then! I’d wear tan shoes.
