Classic crew neck jumpers

Despite having disproportionately large boobs I love a crew neck jumper with a necklace over it (sort of J Crew c. 2014). But just can't find them to fit.

Due to the boobs I need them slightly longer than average (Uniqlo no good unfortunately) and want that sort of 'I just threw this on', ever so slightly slouchy look, rather than tight top territory) whilst I also have tiny wrists and hate a lot of material flapping around them (doomed at the moment with all the bell sleeves etc). Don't want polyester.

This is the best I've found so far, though had to get an 8 for the sleeves and it's slightly on the tighter side.

I don't actually know what size I am anymore with all the size inflation and oversized trends in the shops but wear a 30FF bra and have a 28 inch waist.

Any ideas for the perfect jumper? I don't wear cool colours, black, grey or white. TIA!

This is 65% polyester so might not suit but the fit is what you’re talking about. I’m only 5ft 9 but I buy the tall fit because they are short otherwise

I like Benetton jumpers.they do lots of different styles and colours.

In your shoes I’d look for one in a knit and colour I liked, order it large enough for the length and the fit you want on the bust, and then have it taken it in. I get so much wear from my sweaters, year after year, that some spend on a seamstress would be worthwhile.

I got some nice jewel coloured ones in cotton mix from John Lewis.

I don’t know about the shape but Colorful Standard jumpers are lovely - lots of different colours in crew neck.

@BrennieGirl and @Amelion I’ve looked at these before and they are just too short. I need a length of about 62cm at least. Forgot to mention my very long torso too.

@CaliforniaDrumming Jewel colours don’t suit me but I am looking at an apple jade one that might be worth trying.

@IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads I have some Woolovers cardigans but the jumpers are too short. Mens clothing is too big and ill fitting on me.

@ToManderleyAgain I didn’t realise you could alter jumpers! You mean someone could take the arms in?

Yes, I’ve had jumpers taken in at the waist before, I don’t see why you couldn’t do the sleeves too
