Looking for a good portable hand steamer to put in my suitcase for my holiday. Can anyone recommend me a good one?

I'll bump for you. I clicked thinking I'd be learning about the new trend to steam one's hands, so I'm no help to you!

I just bought the Phillips one,it was £30 from Argos. I've not had one before, but it it's good, don't think I'll be using the iron again.

Does it really replace an iron , on shirts for example. ? I have cotton and linen shirts that are a pain to iron so very interested to see if this could be a replacement xx

A friend bought a cheap one from Amazon and said it was good but I'd probably go for a reputable brand like Philips.

I have this one and it's great. amzn.to/3M9GfBF I love the way the handle it long and easy to hold and slips in and under garments easily (i steam from the inside outwards from under the clothing if that makes sense). I've bought it as a gift for my friend and she's also given up her iron for it now. I find it relatively easy to travel with because it's so slender.

If you're looking for one that's very small then there's this one amzn.to/3KSe6yR which also states it's comparable with a EU 2 prong plug as well (it does come with a U.K. plug)

I only used it for the first time yesterday. I do very little ironing so getting out the board etc seems a big faff for me. I steamed 5 tee shirts before it needed re filling. All the models seem to have small water reservoirs. I like it. Would be great for travelling - I've never bothered though ,I just hang clothes in a steamy bathroom. I'll know more when I've used it for longer.

I am a proud owner of one, no idea of brand, Amazon gadget. Never used as of yet as haven't been in extreme enough situation that needs ironed garments 🤓. However, makes me feel very organised and ready for anything!

@valerianaofficiana you'll love it once you do. I have quite a cramped closet and things Geri wrinkled just hanging it it. The steamer is so quick and easy to use and is great for a quick refresh of clothing. I use mine a few times a week and haven't used my iron in 4 years 😆👍🏻
