Full Face Rejuvenation - anyone done it/how much did you pay?

I’m a total novice when it comes to botox/filler etc.
I’ve recently seen a few FFR ‘glow ups’ on Instagram, and thinking of going for it.
Namely, Botox for forehead lines, filler for mid section, and maybe lips.
Has anyone gone all out - what’s your advice, how long was recovery, how many sessions did you have etc?
And any recommendations? I’m based London, so can easily get to the best places.
I’ve particularly liked the work from Consultant Clinic on Instagram - anyone used them?
And how much should I budget for someone decent?

Hi OP, the doctor I go to specialises in full face rejuvenation, I've done Botox, mid face and chin and I love the results so much that I'm going back to do my nose and lips in a couple of weeks. If you are interested I will pm you the details of the clinic and her Instagram page, you will see plenty examples of her work.

tigerbear · 17/04/2022 21:09

@Thatswhatmamasaid yes please, if you could PM me the details, that would be great. May I ask how much it cost for the procedures you’ve had done/are getting?

23MD in Chelsea do a non surgical cosmetic reconstruction which is essentially that - bit of Botox, tiny bits of filler dotted across the face and ultherapy.
I read about it in an article by Christa de Souza. I’m only 46 and not there yet, but I’m going to have it done for my 50th. It is very subtle but very effective apparently. I am not keen on the cheek filler look personally, and Botox in the forehead starts to push your eyebrows down as you get older, so this feels better to me - you end up looking like a really relaxed and lovely version of yourself, rather than somebody totally different.

Thanks so much @PollyIndia, will take a look at that.

I follow the same page OP and I love the work by Dr. Jas. I'm very very tempted as the lack of mid face volume atm is depressing the hell out of me. I saw a Dr. also called Darren Mckeown and he also has extremely natural, subtle results.

Let us know if you go ahead with it!

tigerbear · 22/04/2022 09:36

@MaraScottie I’ve actually booked in for a consultation with No Filter Clinic, recommended by @Thatswhatmamasaid
as their price structure seemed more transparent, reviews good, and results on IG look just as good. My consultation isn’t til June - they are very booked up. Will report back!

@tigerbear

i have had some light work done over a year or so, I go to a really good doctor (she trained as a dentist and used to work for consultant clinic) and she is very subtle, never goes OTT and will actually say no to things. She is also really lovely. I think my photos feature on some of her before and after. Her name is Dr Sarah Tonkini.

i have heard some ‘things’ about consultant clinic, Dr Joshua (who also does good work) is very open about CC practice - he did training with CC and comments about the difference in the before and after photos- using different light, different poses so the results are not always comparable. Just something to be aware of when you are looking at the photos.

tangledzebra · 22/04/2022 10:19

No filter clinic is also a good one.

tigerbear · 22/04/2022 10:23

@tangledzebra that’s really interesting, thank you. It’s so difficult to figure out which consultants are really good or not, or if their IG posts are indeed a bit tweaked, like you said.

If it was me I would go with either no filter clinic, dr joshua or Dr Sarah.

i think CC use a lot of filler to get the results and it costs an absolute fortune.

balancebeam · 22/04/2022 12:03

When you say mid face filler do you mean cheekbones (more common) or the cheek pad area? The cheek pad is a difficult area to do for all sorts of reasons and a lot won't offer it.

balancebeam · 22/04/2022 12:09

I like the look of no filter clinic. Their work looks subtle. Not sure about the lip work, it's not bad at all (I use it as an indicator), but the place I go to does that better.

tigerbear · 22/04/2022 21:21

@balancebeam I’m thinking of getting lips done. Where do you go?

I've had it all, botox, fillers, etc. and I've learned that for the best results you really need to find a skilled, and qualified board certified cosmetic physician. Also, 30 years of experience means nothing, if the person injecting you is not up to date with new techniques and products. You want the best of the best so just make sure you do your research!

Leim · 03/05/2022 21:15

One of the best places I've been to is Skinly - they're not in London, but this is the kind of place you should be looking for!

Wagsandclaws · 03/05/2022 22:06

I have a great aesthetician, his main job is a GP so he's a dr and he goes to all the conferences and keeps up with all the latest techniques.

I'm 50 and I've tried several different people before I found him and wouldn't use anyone else now.

He also wouldn't do anything that isn't needed. He's very honest and always uses just the right amount. I've had several people ask who I use and who now use him.

I've had a lower face and neck lift due to a huge weight loss in my late 40's and that combined with the Botox and fillers has me looking the best I have ever looked most or certainly in white a while anyway . ( ha ha well I like to think so anyway!)

A full makeover using botox and filler doesn't have to be ridiculously pricy.

He is based in Wiltshire near a main line train station, my dil travels from Hampshire to use him so give me a pm if you'd like his details - I believe he has lots of before and after pics on Instagram and they are very natural.

Hey there,
I'm looking for a reliable place where I can get anti aging face rejuvenation. Please can you suggest?
