Wedge boots in my 40s?

Sweetnhappy1 · 16/04/2022 19:16

I bought some boots 15-20 years ago. Put them in a wardrobe and forgot about them. Just came across them and have a feeling they're back in fashion. Do you think it's ok for me to attempt to wear them or am I likely to fall and break a bone?

They are not really back in fashion but don't let your age stop you. Wear what you want

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/04/2022 19:20

Age shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I don't personally like the boots though. No idea if they're in fashion or not, but they don't look like spring/summer wear.

NeedleNoodle3 · 16/04/2022 21:51

Wear them if you still like them OP.

Age isn't an issue but I don't think they're back in fashion I'm afraid!

They're not back in fashion.
Breaking an ankle is a real risk.

If you like them, wear them.

Tippexy · 17/04/2022 00:45

They were never in fashion…

I am not going to comment on your lost boots other than to say I do not judge boots by age.

WaveParticleDuality · 17/04/2022 00:58

(Also, how big are your wardrobes that you can lose them for 20 years?).

frenchfancy81 · 17/04/2022 01:00

Wear what you like. Try them on and have a practice walk! Try some outfit ideas. Life is far too short for not pleasing yourself.
