Eye make up remover

Can you recommend some eye make up remover that really does remove water proof mascara?

I'm finding I have to have several attempts, e.g before a shower and then have to remove the panda eyes afterwards.

I've just discovered no 7 eye make up remover! It's life changing!!

This is brilliant.

I wear thick 50s eyeliner & waterproof mascara and it's gone in seconds without rubbing.

Everything else I've tried has been crap.

Just get a decent oil or balm cleanser for your whole face. Juno and Co balm or Superfacialist Vit C oil removes everything.

Simple hydrating cleansing oil is amazing. Ditched my expensive Clarins cleanser.

Bodyshop Sumptuous Cammomile Cleanser is amazing.

I use Johnson’s Baby lotion and it removes everything with ease including waterproof mascara.

I second the nivea. Anything oily should work. I like the two-phase eye make up removers though as the aqeous phase then gets rid of the oiliness.

I’ve got sensitive eyes so never got on with using a cream or baby lotion. My three favourites are Decleor Eye Make Up Remover, Clinique Take the Day Off (liquid, not the balm as that made my eyes bit puffy) or good old No 7. All excellent for waterproof mascara

I've started using Vaseline. Smear over the eyes and wipe off with warm water on cotton wool. Works a treat

Nivea. Often on a deal too.

Thank you. Lots to go on here. I'm going to start with the Nivea.

The lancome works well for me. Or I use DHC cleansing oil.

I make my own, a mix of any oil of your choice and witch hazel. Shake to mix before use. I use about 50/50 but you can play around with ratios of you prefer it a bit more oily.

A decent oil based cleanser will clear all your make up, you don’t need a separate eye makeup remover.
I use the inky list oat cleanser and it gets all my makeup off including mascara.

DHC cleansing oil or my new favourite which Sali Hughes recommends is Farmacy green clean. It’s pricey but lasts a really long time.
Both of these remove waterproof mascara nicely.

I don’t like eye make up removers as pads and the solutions hurt my sensitive eyes.
