Best cover up for blonde highlights

I've been dark my whole life and have gone blonde due to going grey to make it easier to manage. I'm actually finding it harder to cover the grey in between salon visits with the blonde rather than the brown. I've tried the cover up sprays for blonde and it looks horrible. Can you suggest anything please?

Grey hair isn't grey, it's white/silver hairs mixed with the darker colours which make it look grey. In your case I'd be inclined to look for a dark ash blonde shade and see if that blends better. To go really dark may be too much and look harsh. However, If your skin etc can take it stick to dark

On a whim, I just bought a fake/dupe for colourwow in Home Bargains. It cost 99p. It's like an eyeshadow. Comes with a brush and you just buff it on. For the price, I have to say, it's not bad at all.

@Fullnessmind I'm in your position and just wondering what to do next. Are you sticking with the blonde highlights? I'm naturally v dark but the greys were standing out hence going to blonde highlights. Now I'm not too sure if they suit me (I have green eyes) and wondering if I look a bit washed out. Tempted to go back to my original rich brown but then I'll have to do something about the greys.
Aaah! Ageing sucks!

Thanks everyone. The eyeshadow type cover up is a good idea! @sycamore80 I do think they suit me but at least with the spray I could cover them up with the brown. The blonde spray looks awful. You are so right, ageing sucks Sad I might go a lighter brown with highlights instead or Ash as namechange kindly suggested. Good luck with whatever you decide x

I also went blonde to hide the grey but omg, the cost of upkeep is so much and if you leave it a bit, the roots are hideous. I have an appointment to get it dyed back to a chestnut brown and I think it will be easier to get products to hide the greys between appointments. Brown seems easier to manage that blonde
