Looking for a new lip shade - brown eyes, pale

I’m a bit bored of my dusty roses and reds and I’m just wondering if anyone can recommend a lipstick shade that would suit very dark brown eyes, pale freckle skin and dark brown hair?

If you like paramount, Lisa Eldridge painterly is beautiful on. Similar tone to paramount but less intense/very buildable.

Maybelline coffee addiction

A coral shade? I wear mac cherish or charlotte tilbury alessandra now after years of pink nudes, and they are neutral, but nude coral is more peppy than just .... lip colour.
Its been q big change for me! Looks better than pink nude or brown nude and ive heard "you look well!"

Ive green eyes, pale, reddish brown hair.

Ooh brilliant thank you I’m off to look at the maybe lline shade and yeah I used to wear corals, time for a new one I think! I don’t know why I stopped wearing them, I think I got a bit obsessed with mauves and roses!

Maybelline Iced caramel is nice

I popped into John Lewis yesterday and paid a visit to the Charlotte Tilbury stand as I've been looking for a new lipstick colour for ages and after a few online mishaps decided I needed some expert advice.

The assistant recommended a lipstick and lip pencil combination that I was very dubious about, but as I had had no luck left to my own devices I went with it and tried them. She very kindly sanitised the testers for me and I was really surprised at how much they lifted my complexion! So I would recommend going to a counter and going outside your comfort zone!

I love Nars makeup counters for this, my local one has a huge range and very patient customer assistants who will make suggestions. I avoid Charlotte Tilbury, I have found it bleeds and comes off on everything.

I'm pale with brown eyes and at the moment I'm wearing very close to 90s brown - Marrakesh Mere from Mac (which has been discontinued I think). There are lots of brownish reds out there that can look quite good if you want a bit of a change.

Alternatively have you thought about going completely the other way into a more girly pink? Lipstick Queen had an amazing one called Jean Queen which went with everything. Again, the brand is no more but could find dupes online?

(As you can probably tell, I have an enormous lipstick stash going back yonks!)
