has anyone seen any good low-heel knee-length boots around?

I've looked all over the place for the last 6 weeks and just can't find what I'm looking for.

They have to be low, 1-3" heel and I'd prefer a chunky heel. I've got long thin legs so a reasonably narrow fit and slightly longer length would be superb. And I'm not mad on very pointed toes.

Anything? Anywhere?

I got a lovely pair brown ones (not too dissimilar to Cod's Next brown ones link) from Deichmann Shoes which cost me all of £10 in their sale. They are fab and very, very comfy. Only helpful if you have a branch near you though sorry!

anniemac, I work near Euston so can easily get to Holborn, where abouts is it? It would have to be a lunchtime quick jaunt so any directions would be very appreciated!

The duo boots look good in terms of measuring the calf width, but I can't tell how long the boots are from the website. I quite like one pair but they don't look particularly long in the picture.

CC!! - where've you been??? I love Rocket Dog but they're just too short in length for me. I'm a lanky dude y'know.

The LK Bennett ones look nice, how long are they? From floor to top?

Does everyone know that Amazon do shoes and boots now? And they have a sale on atm?

I have had 3 pairs of these (I had a black pair for years, then the zip broke, so I got a brown pair - then saw Amazon had them reduced to £45.50 so got another black pair ) They are not quite knee high though.

Also have these in black which are knee high and are good for slim calves as you can tighten the buckle.

And my friend just bought a pair of Hush Puppies boots on amazon that were about £40 reduced from £90 so well worth a look.

anniemac, if I nipped down to Chancery Lane tube I'd find it easily you think?

You know, SL, I tried on those boots in your second link and they were perfect except they were only just above calf height on me. Same with the DMs. I like the style of both but they don't have that extra inch or so in the height that some of the more 'riding boot' style boots have.

CC, you still got clean ashtrays?
