Hello

My ancient GHD straighteners are on their way out

Looking at recent reviews on GHD website, they now look shocking...

PLease recommend me some straighteners!

I have a set of corioliss C3's they are old but brilliant, I brought them when my GHD's died around 8 years ago, I prefer them as they have variable heat settings.

I had to replace mine about a year ago and was worried cos I saw all the same reviews, but I ended up getting GHD Golds and they're absolutely fine. No worse than the originals. What do you use them for though? My hair is quite straight and I just use them for styling really, if you have very curly hair I can't comment. But don't discount GHDs, cos not everyone has a bad experience with the new ones.

FHIs - so much better than GHDs

Cloud 9. Great quality, like GHD's used to be

I second Cloud 9, better quality than GHD's. From what I understand they are made by the same company that used to make GHD's. The brand GHD's was sold and is now being made to a lower/ cheaper standard.

Cloud nine. The wife plates ones I have are very similar to my old style ghds

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 13/04/2022 22:15

I had my old GHDs for 10 years until they literally fell apart into two bits in my hands Grin

I bought a new set 2 years ago. GHDs platinum plus in white. They are great and definitely worth the money. Hope they also last me 10 years.

EverydayImPuzzling · 13/04/2022 22:18

Yes, Cloud 9. As PP said they are made with the old GHD technology but with a different name.

Cloud 9 you won't look back. I did loads of peer research before I bought mine and I love them. I have thick frizzy hair
