I have lots of greys mixed in with my natural dark brown hair. I let it all go natural about three years ago as I couldn’t be bothered with dying it and thought grey would look good.
I’m now getting bored with it and sometimes feel it’s ageing (I’m 47) so I’d like to try colour again.
I like my original dark brown but now I have so much grey (I’d say at least 50%) I think it would make sense to go for a medium brown rather than anything too dark. I have bright green eyes and fair skin with high colour on my cheeks and nose (go red easily!).
My hairdresser suggested a glossing treatment rather than a block colour, saying that it wouldn’t cover the grey but instead create a nice tonal effect which I could go for. Question is, which products are best? I’ve been looking at Josh Wood and also Castings…
