What colour goes with greige?

I have a shetland cardi, its naturally coloured a sort of greige, it looks grey in some lights, beige in others and Im clueless as to what colours would work with it. I was thinking burgundy but would that look odd? (Im trying to work out if I can fit it into my current wardrobe or if I need to dye it)

I am basing this on interior design principles but maybe try brown; grey and brown appear together a lot in nature. Depending on the exact shade, true navy/bottle green/plum may also work? Your cardi sounds lovely btw

All pinks without a purple/yellow element. So rose/salmon/dusky etc. Will be gorgeous

Thanks both thats really helpful, I tend to go for quite a small colour palette which go together but this is a bit outside my comfort zobe.

But I have navy and dusky pink in my wardrobe already so it sounds like I should be able to make it work with what I have

Can you link /post a photo of style of cardie?

From your description, id wear with blue jeans or navy dresses (own far too many of those), white in the summer, muted greens, dusky pinks, might look nice with the pistachio coloured clothes that seem to be everywhere. Try it on over a few things and see how it looks.

Unfortunately the cardi is still in the ikea stage (needs assembly) @margoskaftan but if I have done it right ive attached a picture of the wool and the pattern, although in some lights the wool is much more grey.

I like the sound of rose, dusky pink or pistachio so far, its definitely given me confidence to go for it without dyeing it
