Wedding guest dress help

Help please!

I’m looking for a dress for a wedding in a few weeks time and have no idea what I want. I’m 5’2 and a size 8-10, closer to an 8. I have very short legs but toned, would be wearing heels.

I can be flexible on budget but would prefer the lower end. Midi dresses are quite long on me, minis feel a bit ‘young’ but I’d consider with longer sleeves. Knee length are always a bad length on me as come a few inches below knee. Wedding is north England so may well be cooler. I’m late 30s and pale and blonde. Any suggestions?

@Palloom - I too would like recommendations for those who have bought from Light in the Box but have seen people recommending them - look lovely and inexpensive but if anyone can recommend once bought I would love to hear
