Phase Eight jumpsuit

I am looking for an outfit to wear to a summer wedding at a church and hotel. I am 50, size 14, 5ft2 with a bit of a tum. I prefer a v neck or scoop rather than a high neck.
I don't fancy a dress as they all seem to be midi length or a shift with lace.
I quite fancy this jumpsuit, but what to wear as a jacket or similar in case the weather is rubbish?
I would prefer to order from Next, M&S, JL, Littlewoods or Freemans as they will all deliver/hassle free returns for where I live.

@PomRuns no the 14 did feel ok, it felt better than the 16. The 16 I find has a lot of fabric around the crotch/bottom area so all felt a bit loose. Doesn't help that I need to shorten it by god knows how much as my inside leg is about 28 on a good day!

The 14 looks fab on you. 16 def too big. It drowns your lovely shape.

14 looks great. This is not the type of outfit you want to be a bit roomy and 'comfy'. This is a fitted and showing off your figure kind of outfit (while still enjoying it).

I had to reorder as I had returned the original one and this one the zip is much smoother. I can't do the zip fully up by myself so will just have to time the loo breaks when friends are going too...

I have a jumpsuit from there I’ve worn to 3 weddings now. It’s a hot pink colour and fab.

don’t worry about going to the loo, I’ve made lots of friends at weddings from asking random ladies to help me do up my jumpsuit in the loos! 😂

Late to the thread but just wanted to add I can absolutely tell the difference between the 14 and 16. 14 looks fitted to you and stylish, 16 looks draped and baggy. You look amazing in the 14. Though what PP said re eating could be a consideration. Have fun in Birmingham and at the wedding!

@Snoopsnoggysnog thanks 😀 this has been a long process... I ordered it in green first 14 and 16. Then saw the purple so ordered in 14 and 16, 14 arrived and 16 got cancelled. Ordered the 16 again after being told out of stock and they wouldn't be getting any more! Sent the 14 back and the 16 arrived and it was too big. Ordered a 14 and it's a keeper 😀
I will need to find another fancy occasion to wear it, only have one wedding this year

I am going for my Mulberry Lily in taupe, a Mulberry scarf to use as a pashmina in case it's cold in the church. My DC brought the scarf so good to get some use out of it.
Found some sandals, not too high and with a block heel that's not too blocky!
I am having my hair done on the day so will find a fancy hair slide to keep my hair off my face.
