Shoe half sizes

Looking at some converse high tops and they come in half sizes. I’m sometimes a 6 and sometimes better in a 5.5 as I have quite narrow feet. Which would you order? How much does a half size make generally?

I wear Peter Kaiser 4.5. If I try a 5 I walk out of them so quite a lot of difference. Some manufacturers have info whereby you measure the length of your feet to find your size in their brand. Aren’t converse on the wide side?

@bouncydog I can’t work out if narrow or wide as people say both on here but more commonly narrow!

I find them narrow, if that helps. If your feet are average or wide you could try going up a size. They are horribly uncomfortable, though, as the soles feel like thin cardboard.
