Work dresses and tops if you're big on top

Just about to start a new office job having been working at home for years. I'm a 30gg and a 12-14. I need a few summer work outfits. I'm thinking dresses with a jacket or a smart top with trousers.

Problem is that most dresses don't fit properly and same with tops. I always have to get jersey ones to fit.

Where is a good place to shop or what styles may suit? It's a corporate environment so fairly smart.

I am the same shape but bigger. I tend towards v neck vest tops, fairly lose, casual semi structured blazers and smart trousers in a different colour or jeans. Mint velvet do some good blazers.

I’m 32 FF, size 10. I look for dresses with buttons at the front which mean I can have something really fitted at my waist then leave the buttons open on the bust and wear a vest top underneath. I wear vest tops with shirts too and leave button open.

Can you link to the sort of tops you mean? And where is good for work trousers. Could probably pay up to £100 if they fit well. Thanks

I wear jersey dresses for this reason, with jersey blazers.

Thanks, which brands do you like? Last summer I had to order about 15 dresses to find one that fits. Shock

Boden is very good for jersey dresses. Personally I think they over do the patterns at Boden but they often do just plain colours too.

@Georgesgrumpymedicine, I have dresses from Crew Clothing, Phase Eight, White Stuff and Thought.

@frillseeking had this question on her AMA thread and her recommendations were Hush, Whistles and M&S (their relaxed fit.). She also recommended looking at Alice Fawke which is a brand specifically designed for larger busts. They have side seaming and shaping designed to flatter.
