Not so much “style and beauty”, as “practical and comfortable”. Can anyone recommend me some practical, everyday knickers please? I sent to be super fussy….

I don’t want microfibre, polyester, recycled or otherwise. I do want natural fibres.
I’d like them to be more robust than the “7 pairs for £10” type multipacks, but equally I don’t want to pay £10-15 a pair!
I like boy legs, but this is not essential.
Needs to be high waisted. I have a very long back and anything lower cut barely covers my hip bones!
Needs to be dark colours, or black.
Needs to be available on line in a 14-16.

My ideal is Oddballs’ women’s boxers, but they haven’t had any in colours I’d wear, in a 16 for over a year!

I saw them, but I hate white pants. If that pack was all black, I’d have got 2! I have thrown financial caution to the wind and ordered some sloggis.

Came on to say this. I have never been so pleased with a purchase in my sad little life. They are the absolute bees knees.

If you want basic black cotton full briefs, which are very comfy but not at all attractive, these are for you:

I have been browsing at M&S and found this: https://www.marksandspencer.com/5-pack-supima-cotton-and-modal-no-vpl-full-briefs/p/clp22212902?intid=mobileappppdpshare

Super comfortable.

They do look good actually. I first saw them I only saw the style with the contrast stitching that look like my dad’s old Y fronts, which put me off. I’ve seen the plain ones now. I might get some of them too.

I love British Boxers, I've got the knickers and the hipsters and they are fab. I particularly love the hipsters as they've got an elastic waistband which means they stay put, don't dig and are really comfy.

As soon as I read your post I was going to suggest wirarpa on Amazon. They were recommended on a similar post last year and I bought a four pack immediately. I have never had knickers so comfortable in my entire life and I am now 46yo. Hideously unattractive on me, but I have not looked back. I bought the black/grey combo and now have a four pack of brighter colours on rotation. Honestly, they’re amazing. I bought large and I have a size 14 bottom.

The company has a lovely ethos too. I treated myself to their pjs when I had covid last year.
