Casual shoes that will not kill my feet

I have weak ankles (probably from supporting way too much weight) and knackered knees.

In the autumn/winter/spring I live in Heavenly Feet boots. I have worn Skechers a lot too, but they tend to look a bit orthopaedic.

What else is out there which is still going to allow me to walk comfortably? Colourful would be a bonus...

I love Sperry boat shoes, particularly the angelfish style. They're dead comfy from the get go, I can walk miles in mine without my feat becoming sore or tired and they last years - my oldest pair is over 15 years old and they still look as good as new.
They were the only shoes I could comfortably wear when I had plantar faciitis too.

Fit Flops all day long. I have trainers and sandals and they're like walking on clouds.

Something from Ecco?

Maybe Fly London?

Also second the recommendation for Fit Flops, I lived in a pair of their boots after I'd had surgery and had to walk for rehab and they were amazing.

Are you looking for shoes as opposed to trainers?

Gosh ate you my long losr twin - looks longling at her tired heavenly feet boots, flexing her weak ankles and aching knees. Its that inbetween time of year - too hot for boots too cold for sandals.

I have neurological problems which mean I tend to drag my feet because I can't feel them properly so comfortable shoes are essential, my feet are also wide and honestly a bit fat. I wear Birkenstock usually Gizeh during the summer and have these in black and white for when I want to look a bit glamorous 😂 :

They are lightweight and the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I bought mine from QVC so I could try them on and walk in them. I wore them straight from the box for a three day trip to Italy and I didn't have a single issue with them.
