back pack converts to crossbody bag

I'm in need of a new bag and I've seen a few that are convertible between back pack and crossbody, which would be ideal.

However, quite a few say they convert to crossbody but the pictures only show converting to a shoulder bag, which wouldn't work for me.

Has anyone got one or can recommend one that does go from back pack to crossbody? I need one that can get a decent amount of stuff in too.

This is the best convertible backpack I have found as you don't need to fiddle with the straps at all. I just did a test with mine, and if you let the straps out to full length and use just one of them it will go crossbody - probably not if it was full though. www.mandarinaduck.com/en-GB/shoulder-bag/p/QMT09

Thanks @choppolata I will check those out, looks like the straps do go quite long.

It's a great bag, really lightweight. They have been doing this style for ages, I got an older version from Amazon on the cheap Smile

I have a Kipling one, they do a few different styles and sizes.

Have a look at OdiLynch (she's also on Etsy and has shop at Camden Market, if you're anywhere near London).

I've got one of her large convertable back packs (can't remember if it's the Amelie or the Belgian) and it's really good. It's suprisingly spacious (mine fits a laptop plus the usual hangbag detritus) and has loads of pockets and compartments.
