I like l'eau issay, Paul Smith Rose, Vera Wang and Versace Dylan Turquoise.
I definitely don't like anything sweet or cloying. Any ideas of copies on the High Street that are any good?? M&S used to do a really good copy of l'eau issay but it seems to be discontinued. I don't want to pay any more than £20 if possible.

Next has nice perfumes, sorry can't remember any of the names. I also like that they do small versions for your purse.

Zara has good dupes

@OxanaVorontsova

Zara has good dupes

I came to recommend Zara as well. I can't remember which one I've got but it was £7 for the bottle and it's lovely. I'm a perfume lover and have spent nearly £200 for a bottle, but enjoy wearing my Zara one just as much

MrOllivander · 07/04/2022 01:47

Next and Zara as above
Perfume parlour for dupes of high end (just type the perfume you like in and it brings the dupe up)

DramaAlpaca · 07/04/2022 02:18

Another vote for Next and Zara.

DramaAlpaca · 07/04/2022 02:20

Oh, and you might like Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. It's a similar style to the ones you've listed and you can get a big bottle for not very much money. And it really is lovely Smile

thesnaleandthewhail · 07/04/2022 02:29

Reality check, most perfumes that cost £20 won't be very nice. There's not a strict price relationship with how much things cost obviously because so many brands capitalise on their fame but a really good perfume will cost money. Have you looked at any of the dupe websites?

Amei · 07/04/2022 03:14

Zara dupes are amazing!!

URMyStarship · 07/04/2022 03:18

Have a look on the perfume parlour website. I don’t know if they dupe those exact fragrances, but it’s a reliable dupe site with a wide range of fragrances.

The Body Shop British Rose and Atlas Mountain Rose two nice, fresh rose perfumes that are similar to Paul Smith Rose and fairly cheap.

MissBattleaxe · 07/04/2022 03:23

@thesnaleandthewhail I disagree so much I nearly fell out of bed! There are loads of excellent inexpensive perfumes around. Like several PPs I also recommend Zara, Next and Lovely. Also Avon has some great frags that have been made by master perfumers such as Olivier Cresp, Alberto Morillas and Rodrigo Flores Roux. All under £20 and you can buy samples and purse sprays of a lot them from the Avon site. I'm not a rep just a perfume blogger.

As soon as I read this title. Sarah Jessica Parker's 'Lovely' came to mind, then I noticed another poster had mentioned it too. They're right. It really is lovely.

It's usually on offer online for 100ml. I then decant some into a handbag size perfume atomiser.

Also, check out vinted. People are always selling their unused (usually gifted) perfumes that they don't want.

BusterGonad · 07/04/2022 16:32

Yep, I also really like SJP Lovely and I like Ghost Deep Midnight, which I admit I haven't had for years. Is it even still around? But I'm currently working my way through a large SJP Lovely 😊

Swifey40 · 08/04/2022 14:06

Thank you everyone for your expertise! I've just ordered 'Lovely' for £8 from amazon and it sounds amazing!
