Is leopard print ever okay for a wedding?

I am a leopard print lover. I'll just put that out there. But I feel like it might be too casual for a wedding.

I am reeeeeally struggling to find an outfit for a wedding.

Wedding is in a castle, a posh do.

I am a little overweight, currently a size 14/16 but hoping to be a comfortable 14 by the wedding in 8 weeks' time as I'm doing really well on my diet plan (13lb down so far).

I'm a red head and very pale - greens and brighter colours suit me better than pastels.

I have very chunky arms and they're my biggest insecurity so am looking for something at least elbow length.

I also get chub rub so need something I can wear chub rub shorts with.

I've seen this: www.silkfred.com/womens/clothing/dresses/long-sleeve-dresses/jenerique/wrap-midi-dress-in-green-leopard-print

Is it too casual for a posh wedding?

If it is, have you seen anything recently that might fit my above criteria?

Thank you ❤️

@TokenGinger

Is this too bright?

I have absolutely NO fashion sense at all, so please do excuse me if the suggestions are foul 😂 I will not take offence to anybody telling me they are horrid choices, so long as I don't look a mess at this lovely wedding!

I absolutely love the second wantthattrend one. Beautiful.

I think leopard print looks really tacky, especially if you are overweight. I don't think it's suitable for a wedding.

You have a good eye for this! I really love the Warehouse one, too!

I'm not sure about leopard print for a wedding but then I'm not a big fan of the coloured animal prints anyway.

But I just wanted to say OP I'm the same colouring as you & my DD's are constantly complaining that I wear a lot of green.

It's seen as a very safe colour for redheads & I have loads of green clothes but in all honesty I get most compliments when I wear royal blue so maybe try something in this colour.

I love animal prints, and wore leopard print shoes to my own wedding!

Ahh that's really interesting, and I think you're right. A lot of red heads do see green as a safe option. I'll hunt out some royal blue options, too!
