Like a lot of us over the lockdowns I let my natural hair grow out.

I'm loving the striped look, different shades etc but round my face it's almost white, at the back and underneath it's like a dark mushroom colour.

Problem is round my face it's just too pale and even when I have fake tan on I feel it needs a little warming up.

I'm absolutely loathed to start putting highlights back in though.

Is there a shampoo or glaze that can add some warmth back in? Like the opposite of purple shampoo?

I can't help you OP but following with interest. As a life-long brunette having white around my face just doesn't suit me. I've been tempted to go back to the bottle and dye it a warm caramel brown but that would be going back to all the issues that I wanted to stop when I grew it out!

Could you have some fun with toners? Pink or peach etc. I have blonde highlights and I’m going to try Toning them for a bit of added interest.

There was a thread on here over one of the lockdowns that had a recc for a colour depositing shampoo and conditioner. Danged if I can can find it now, drat! Would have been useful info...

I know a woman that uses chamomile tea as a hair rinse, she has long, grey hair and it does look very shiny. She swears if she doesn't do it every week it begins to look dry and washed out

I’ve used the Josh Wood ones, you just put them on like a mask and wash out. I found more than once a week made my hair quite dry.
