Comfy night out shoes

Having spent a recent wedding in agony with my high heels and eventually ditching shoes and going barefoot I've decided I've reached the point when comfort is number 1.

But I'd still like to look stylish. Any ideas? What about these sandals? Stylish or ugly?

They are OK, unremarkable but fine.
I've recently had shoes with a block heel like this [https://www.newlook.com/uk/womens/footwear/shoes/sandals/wide-fit-pale-blue-faux-croc-block-heel-sandals/p/813912445 NewLook]] which is really comfortable - not too high, and less tiring to wear because you don't have to balance. You can find similar at all price points, these are just an example.

I think a flat shoe can look dressy and sexy if it has a nice sharp pointed toe and an ankle strap Grin

I don't find them particularly stylish, they're functional. And functional rarely looks fashionable unfortunately.
For a wedding I would go for something a bit strappier and in a slimmer, low heel.
I'm going to a wedding shortly too, I'm wearing some heels to the ceremony, I'm ok in heels so I'll probably last through lunch in them, but I am taking some flat sandals for the evening reception.
Once the lights go off, no one cares really.
