Shoes to go with this dress

Picked a dress for my graduation ceremony and now I'm stumped on what shoes to wear with it! Our gowns are bright red which is also making things a tad tricky!

The dress www.scarlettandjo.com/collections/plus-size-dresses/products/copy-of-lauren-knot-front-dress-1?variant=10656948027439

Any suggestions for shoes? I have very wide feet so struggle with most sandal styles unfortunately!

Just seen these and absolutely love them but would they work with that dress? www.jdwilliams.co.uk/shop/joe-browns-bow-court-shoes-eee-fit/bj471/product/details/show.action?pdBoUid=6010&optionColour=Navy&pdpClick=true

Thank you!

(I'm very nervous about the whole thing tbh and rarely have the need to dress up!)

Shoes are lovely and would be a good match. How comfortable/confident are you in heels? Flats might be kinder to your feet/knees.

Lovely dress and shoes, congratulations on your graduation.🍾🎉💐

Excellent. If you are nervous of heels Joe Brown do a slightly lower Mary Jane style shoe in a few colours - red to go with graduation gown!

Or wear red trainers if you want flats with a bit of zip.

Have a lovely day!

Dress and shoes are lovely, they will look great together. I go to lots of graduations, because I work in a University. I would say think about whether you will have to go up or down steps to a stage, and will you feel comfortable doing that in your outfit. Some people wear the highest heels / shortest dress they have ever owned, and you can tell they feel awkward. But TBH you don't need to worry because whatever they wear, and whether they slouch or swagger across the stage, or trip up, or attempt high fives, the room is so full of love and pride it really doesn't matter. I always cry and I'm a bit emotional now thinking about you. Congratulations!

I’m hopeless re fashion so no help but just wanted to add my congratulations and to say try out the shoes first and make sure they’re comfortable and you can forget about them on the day
