how to reduce scars on body?

I currently have quite a lot of scarring on my body, literally everywhere. it happened during my pregnancy 2 years ago and became worse from being stuck indoors during lockdowns and from heating. can anyone recommend anything to help these fade even a little? by scarring think like old scabs - that's not what they are but what they look like Sad. would be very grateful for any suggestions, and yes I have been to a GP about it as well.

Bio oil? I've just bought some so I'm no authority on it, but it seems to be the go to Smile.

google silicon patches Brilliant. Worked well on operation scar.

I've tried bio oil in the past and it seems to work on more recent scarring but not old ones, for me anyway :( that was maybe a decade ago though so maybe I should give it another go!
