Bra that "lifts" in a 32G

mamawho99 · 03/04/2022 08:20

I used to wear the boux Avenue "Lauren" bra. It was the best bra I have ever owned. It was beyond supportive and it created such a massive "lift" for my boobs. They were up where they were meant to be and created a lovely rounded look. Unfortunately it has been discontinued.

I have tried every bra under the sun and they give my boobs absolutely no lift. They have sagged after 2 kids and every bra I try on seems to enhance the fact that they have drooped quite significantly.

Can anyone recommend a good bra for the larger bust? Must be padded and create great lift.

Thanks

Freya Deco Moulded. Be careful as there are two Decks. It's amazing.

Gossard Superboost lace comes in an ok second.

No padded but great lift and shape.
I found this one after being fitted at Rigby and Peller for a £80 bra and applied all the knowledge I got from that fitting.
(The best £80 investment ever btw)

I’d keep an eye on eBay as you might get a Lauren there

Great, thank you everyone!

I completely forgot about the Freya bra.
I had one about 5 years ago and my boobs did look amazing!!

Going to order one tonight.

Another vote for Freya, I'm a 34FF and can't wear anything else. Great lift and shape.

I've just bought a Panache Envy from Bravissimo. Really comfy and puts my boobs in a great place! I think it makes me look a bit slimmer because it hoiks them up a bit - but that might be wishful thinking!

rbe78 · 04/04/2022 14:18

I second the Gossard superboost.

ramarama · 04/04/2022 18:53

I'm also same size and this bra give me such a good shape i can't now wear anything else without feeling sad and droopy. Also quite sturdy and puts up with the laundry cycle

I can't get along with Deco after kids, so prefer half-cups to plunges. Fantasie Ana is great for lift.

AlannaOfTrebond · 05/04/2022 14:10

If it's shape under clothes you're after I found panache wired sports bras the best.

I lost a load of weight and was waiting for it to stabilise before spending on bras, apart from sports bras - but have ended up wearing them most of the time.

I will admit it isn't the best look without clothes, but in black or the black and nude lacy effect one I can deal with that.

mamawho99 · 06/04/2022 08:57

Thank you so much for the suggestions! I will work my way through the bras until I'm happy with one.

I'm getting beyond frustrated with trying to make my boobs look like I haven't had 2 kids 😩

Another vote for the Freya deco

mamawho99 · 06/04/2022 09:04

@AlannaOfTrebond not sure why I didn't think of a sports bra!

I have been wearing my crappy bras with a cheap "sports bra" on top. Except it's more like a cropped vest that keeps them in place a little bit but not really 😂.

I have looked up the sports bra you have suggested and it's got amazing reviews!!
Will have to order next payday. Thank you!

I have a horse so I ride nearly every day. I will only wear the panache underwired bra for riding. I’m a 32G, my boobs do not move! It also creates a nice shape so it looks like you’re wearing a normal bra rather than a uniboob like some sports bras create

Orangesox · 06/04/2022 12:12

Second Panache Envy, and also add Panache Jasmine - same cup construction but slightly different materials. Both of these make my 38K's somewhat defy gravity!

ZealAndArdour · 06/04/2022 12:16

Another vote for the panache envy. I’ve recently lost 12 stone, and have gone from a 40JJ down to a 32J, my boobs really are a sorry state of affairs these days, they have no volume or oomph of their own, they’re just flesh bags really. But nobody would know when I’ve got the Envy on. I’ve been for a bravissimo fitting every few months of my weight loss, tried all sorts on, and every time I’ve left with another black Panache Envy.

Onehappymam · 06/04/2022 12:19

Another vote for Freya Deco! It’s the only bra I’ve worn for years now. I couldn’t stand the thought of going back to wires.

Vohgue · 06/04/2022 12:19

The one linked to by @Thisismynewname123 is absolutely amazing. I have repurchased at least 5x now

BradleyCooperwillbemine · 06/04/2022 13:45

Another vote for Panache Envy. Gives a really uplifted, rounded shape, but not too Pride and Prejudice!

mamawho99 · 16/04/2022 13:00

@AlannaOfTrebond
Thank you soo much for recommending that sports bra!!

I ordered it a couple of days ago and I have been wearing it ever since. So comfortable & boobs up where they are meant to be!

I don't recommend this. I'm a 28GG and there is too much softness in the straps, they 'give' easily and end up really cutting into your shoulders. Ditto the band isn't the most structured and digs in after wearing for a few hours.
WowIlikereallyhateyou · 16/04/2022 19:18

Fantasie, i used to like freya, but think fantasie are more supportive.

Vohgue · 19/04/2022 00:32

I agree wow. The fantasie moulded cup blows the freya deco completely out of the water
