Spring/Summer shoes for the "office"

I work in a school and can't wear trainers with dresses because of the dress code. I have some ballet pumps but I have wide feet and they are not comfortable and never look quite right with my skinny ankles/muscly calves.

Loathe heels. Happy to wear platforms/flatforms.
Walk to work - only 15 minutes so can do the change at work thing if needed, but I'd rather have something I can commute and wear all day.
Not a massive budget.

I wear dresses (short and midi).

What shoes are you wearing this summer? Please?

I'm a teacher too, I wear chunky loafers/brogues in spring, sandals in summer, boots in winter

I’ve bought a pair of these www.mintvelvet.co.uk/products/emmy-white-pointed-flat-shoes and have worn them loads already.

Have a look at crew shoes as well, they’re really reasonable and their shoes are some of the most comfortable ones I own.

love those @crumble82

It's all about loafers this season. Just need to get liners that work well with them

I have a pair of embassy brogues that are comfy and colourful and get lots of compliments. Bit pricy but look for the sales.

What about some of the Skechers trainers that don't look like trainers or slip ons?

SkoolShoes · 02/04/2022 21:58

Thank you shall take a look. I have a couple of loafers being delivered. Sandals are tricky as I think we have a "no open toes" policy. Well we did in my last school. Shall have to dig the handbook out.....
