Can anyone recommend might creams?

I have normal/dry skin and feel like when I wake up in the morning my skin has sooked it all up and feels dry rather than soft. Also noticed a few more fine lines recently under the eyes that seem to have appeared over night!

Any recommendations would be gratefully received, happy to spend a wee bit more if its good.

Have gone through a few recently to try but don't seem to be that great for my skin: Superdrug, polaar nuit

I'm another fan of M&S Ultimate Sleep Cream. It works pretty well on its own, but I find the best thing for my really dry skin is cleansing with a cleansing balm and a muslin cloth (currently using Pure Rose Cleansing Balm) and then using a facial oil (currently using Pure Overnight Face Oil) before the night cream.

My DM has always had normal to dry skin and has mainly used Nivea soft although she did use Clinique's dramatically different lotion for a long time. They work well for her. She currently wears Clinique's foundation not sure which one as that suits her skin.

We have very different skin. Mine is very temperamental so I have had to trial many products over the years and still have to use a few to balance it out.

At least this means I'm getting things right for DD whose skin is somewhere between the both of us. And DS in fact.

When my skin feels very dry I do like M&S ultimate sleep cream.

I've just started using Estée Lauder Advanced night repair as it came in my Beauty Advent Calendar and I have to say it exceeds expectations. I do have the Hado Labo premium Hyuralonic acid but it's much better than that with significant noticeable results. Bit pricey though hence my love for a Beauty Advent Calendar so I can explore expensive products I've had my eye on.

Sunday Riley Luna was great last year. It's oil based and lasts ages and my skin just loved it so I'd recommend that

When applying an HA based product I spray some of my La Roche Posay Thermal water on my face first or in fact on my hands first before applying it.
If my face feels tight I like to spray it on after a shower.

My favourite face wash is Dermalogica special gel as there is no tightness after.

My DM however only ever uses Nivea Soft as her cleanser Confused

I've recently (as in last few days) started to use an oil followed by a moisturiser, at night. It's made a big difference, so far at least.

I've been using Typology carrot seed oil, and a Cerave PM cream or Neal's Yard Frankincense.
I've bought some Rosehip (Inkey list) oil to try, too. Though I searched up the old oil cleansing method threads on here and intend to try that next week. Have already ordered castor oil and jojoba.

May have been mentioned but Elemis marine cream then the peptide night facial on top is amazing. Also love using glow recipe banana cream and too cool for school pumpkin sleep mask

Sounds like M&S is a very popular one, may need to try that out as well.
I had a little splurge and bought the fenty overnight gel which seems to have excellent reviews on boots for those with dry skin so I'll report back!
