Sizing of Adidas footwear?

Haven’t bought Adidas footwear for years, but have seen a pair of trainers and a pair of slides that I’d like to get. Can anyone tell me how the sizing comes up? If it’s helpful, my normal shoe size is a UK 4, 4 in Supergas, 4.5 in Reebok. TIA!

I'd go up a size, so get a 5 (DS always gets adidas and I have one pair)

I wear a 5.5 in all trainers (mostly wear various styles of Adidas and Nike). I'm also a 5.5 in Clarks shoes if that's any help! So I reckon they're true to size!

I find some styles can be a bit on the small side. Sliders and gazelles I'm a 5 which is my usual size but I've got falcons which in a five which are too small.

It does depend on the style. I’m a wide footed size 6 and can wear a 6 in superstars. But I’ve had to give up on my gazelles as they hurt, I think the toe box part was narrower.

I have some forum bold and they're my usual size, they're lovely and bouncy but ripped the back of my heels to shreds the first time I wore them!

I was gutted because they are beautiful but thankfully one of those blister sticks and different socks sorted it

I have a pair of Edge Lux running shoes in my usual size and one in a size up, they're both OK but my toes are touching the end in my normal size. I can wear proper thick running socks with the bigger ones.

If you are going to use them for sport/running I'd say go up for sure.
