Midi dress shoe help!

I've bought a leopard print midi dress and I can't find any shoes that don't make it look frumpy! I can't wear any type of heel. Any suggestions please?!

It's for a night out. I have some sandals with a tiny heel but not sure if I will look silly because it's cold

I went out last Saturday night - people were dressed in casual to smart, but the thing I really noticed was that every woman was wearing flats

I wear looser fitting midi dresses with white trainers, flat sandals or ankle boots depending on the weather.
