Trying to help my Mum (mid 70s) find an outfit for my Auntie’s wedding. Auntie is mid 50s, first time bride, church wedding so it will be quite formal.
My mum is short 5”2, huge bust so is a size 22-24 in tops. On the bottom she’s a size 18 so dresses don’t do much for her, she needs separates.
So far we think a knee or slightly below knee skirt, maybe chiffon and a matching top- short chiffon sleeves maybe? Then an open beaded or embroidered coat?
Colours not black, white/ cream or pale blue. I am wearing a cobalt blue dress and the bridesmaids are in pale blue. Navy would work though.
So far I have looked so many places online like Chesca and Gina Bacconi but nowhere seems to have all sizes in stock! It’s a nightmare.
