Long bodied swimsuit

I seem to have a disproportionately long torso (which has sadly increased in width too recently) which makes swimwear difficult to find. Any recommendations please (bikinis are not an option!)

Next have some in their Tall range

Boden. I have a long torso and find buying swimsuits really hard but Boden have swimsuits in a longer length. They are pricey but v good quality. Also halternecks that you can adjust help

Pricey but the Boden Santorini in long fitting.

Best thing for a long torso is a tankini. Full coverage in the middle and often comes with shorts style bottoms for hip coverage. Plus you can buy different size tops and bottoms with some styles.

Lands End have excellent ranges - both swimsuits and mix and match tankinis.

Their customer service is top notch too.

LakeFlyPie · 30/03/2022 23:02

Thanks for the links but Shock at prices, thought the Boden one was a bit steep til I saw the Lands End one, 140 quid!

Lands End have plenty cheaper than that OP. They also have frequent price reductions - often 40%. Get yourself on their mailing list.

Pollyphila · 31/03/2022 06:45

In fact there’s 40% off full price styles now on their website. So you can get a £40 one for £24 today.

The longline ones are often called “tugless” in the heading.. But there are plenty of others offering the long sizing options - you need to go into the descriptions to check.

I am long bodied and find Tesco ones are proportioned well for me

lookforthesun · 31/03/2022 07:22

Lands End, I always buy them. Pleanty of cheaper ones on their website

eg this one is £24

www.landsend.co.uk/Womens_Chlorine_Resistant_Tugless_Swimsuit/pp/P_41006.html?cgid=11342&dwvar_P__41006_color=HME

select the "long" option

Psychonabike · 04/04/2022 22:33

Same, I have several Lands End cossies and haven't spent more than £30 on each, yet they are very much more like the quality of Miraclesuit type (which are well over £140 and rarely on sale).
