J crew

What store is closest to j-crew in terms of styles and aesthetics? I used to be able to buy j crew on the John Lewis website but no more, did they fold in the US?

You can still buy direct on the J Crew website (but of course the US prices are much better value than UK - do you happen to be planning a US trip?!?).

Perhaps also try Arket, Cos, Banana Republic, possibly Abercrombie & Fitch (but again, better bought in the US, and it may be too young these days, but I've had cracking Ts from them previously).
