Is jersey as a material ok for a wedding? It will be height of summer so worried it may feel sweaty but more concerned it's too casual - thoughts?

I avoid jersey for weddings, as I think it is too casual generally. But it maybe depends on the type of wedding and the dress

A beautiful silk-jersey dress might work, depending on the drape, etc?

I didn’t see this was S&B (in Active) and thought it was about a destination wedding! I thought, yes, Jersey would be a lovely place for a wedding!

I have worn a fitted, colourful bold pattern jersey dress for a wedding before and think it worked well, it was new so nice and crisp and lovely.
