Sported on the Monki website.

If so I will stop dieting and get my too tight tops out.

Under no circumstances.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 27/03/2022 12:22

Someone was like 'well keyhole tops were a thing, how do we Level Up the keyhole top? I know! MORE holes!'

WannaBeCool · 27/03/2022 12:23

I'll have to dig out all my old too-small shirts from the bottom of my wardrobe if so Grin

TheUsualShitshow · 27/03/2022 12:26

If the pub full of 20 year olds I was in last night is anything to go by then yes.

I do applaud them for dressing how they want no matter shape, size, etc. But also...it doesn't look particularly great or stylish does it.

Ylvamoon · 27/03/2022 12:29

Nothing wrong with having your bait on display when out hunting!

Thewindwhispers · 27/03/2022 12:49

Wow. I knew fabric prices were going up and companies are under pressure to reduce costs but I didn’t realise clothing companies had gone this far 🤣 Hope those buttons are reliable!

It may be a look. But if it looks that unattractive on a professional model, I’d not sure it’s a look many people should explore.

Maireas · 27/03/2022 13:21

It's certainly a look that's very easily achieved.

IndoorsyImogen · 27/03/2022 15:29

I wouldn't in a million years, but I think she looks great. Really glad if young ones are wearing things like that. I am very blessed in the boob department and live in fear of the dreaded button gape! Haven't worn anything button down since I was breastfeeding and then had to buy a few sizes too big to accompany norks

IndoorsyImogen · 27/03/2022 15:30

Accomodate*

JaneJeffer · 27/03/2022 15:34

Reminds me of someone I used to sit opposite at work but she used to accessorise with a grubby bra. Ahead of her time.

Justmuddlingalong · 27/03/2022 15:34

I can see young uns wearing their wee sister's tops out to achieve the same look. And an increase in eye injuries at A&E departments due to popping buttons.

Lurking9to5 · 27/03/2022 15:35

Risky!!

PandoraP · 27/03/2022 16:40

Yes that is certainly an easily achieved look Grin

TheLeadbetterLife · 27/03/2022 16:43

I mean... it looks good on her because she is gorgeous and standing in the just perfect pose to make it look deliberate, but if she was sitting down it would probably look a mess.

Besides that, the colours and cuts would be quite frumpy on anyone with a less spectacular figure I think.

Fashion meets post pandemic bodies. Smile

soulinablackberrypie · 27/03/2022 18:07

I think they are trying to push the message that anyone can wear anything they like - which is a great message except that when buttons are strained that much, they might just come undone altogether. While I don't think it looks horrible on her, I think in a real-life situation she'd be more comfortable in something with a bit more wiggle room.

TheUsualShitshow · 28/03/2022 18:11

People can't definitely wear what they want. But this just looks like they sent the wrong size and she couldn't be arsed with the faff of returning it.

StarlightLady · 29/03/2022 07:16

I’ve just put all my tops and front button down dresses on the hottest wash. That should bring me up to date! 😂

RichardsGear · 29/03/2022 07:23

I hope she never has to run for a bus - those three tiny buttons aren't really up to the job!

Turningpurple · 29/03/2022 07:36

Of course people can wear what they want.

But it looks deliberate because its a professional shot on a model, clearly means to look that way.

In real life it won't loon deliberate just like badly fitting clothes. There's a difference between clothes that are mean to show alot if skin and clothes that show skin because they dont fit.

If I wear a skirt too small and it scratches across the front and keeps riding up, its not a mini skirt. It's a skirt that looks like it does fit. A mini skirt that does fit would always look better.
