I'm after recommendations for a good body scrub. Something that exfoliates well but doesn't rip my skin off! Happy to spend upto £30.

Sanctuary used to do a really good one that was very reasonable. Don’t know if they still do it but might be worth looking in Boots

Loveabitofwood · 26/03/2022 21:22

They do still do it, this one

Argan+Moroccan oil do a sugar scrub, got mine in Waitrose. Seems good.

I bought the brown sugar Primark one which is ok.

I’m actually going to try making one with coffee grinds, oil and sugar or salt - like Upcycle do.

Gonnagetgoing · 26/03/2022 21:39

Sanctuary salt scrub is good, used it recently.

WellTidy · 26/03/2022 21:41

I’ve tried so many over the years, and my absolute favourite is soap & glory the scrub of your life, which is about £6.

NoShitHemlock · 26/03/2022 21:57

I 2nd (or 3rd) both PPs who recommended Sanctuary salt scrub - works really well and smells delicious.

0hMy · 26/03/2022 21:59

Soap and Glory’s the breakfast scrub is the best one I’ve tried, by far!

uggmum · 26/03/2022 22:00

You also need these. Korean wash cloths. They were recommended on here and they are brilliant. Use with a body scrub and you will feel the difference.

I was going to suggest the Korean Italy Cloths too

Only downside is you need to scrub after a bath ( I don;t like baths ) but you don;t have the gritty oily crud over your bath , A lot of peeled skin though for your effort Blush

I find them much kinder than exfoliating gloves which leave my skin itchy .

If I was to buy a scrub it would be BodyShop Pink Grapefruit .

Lookingoutside · 26/03/2022 23:07

Beauty Pie Super Healthy skin body scrub. White tub not the orange one.

roxisolerenshaw · 26/03/2022 23:45

I came on to say The Sanctuary as well

MooMinCow · 27/03/2022 11:43

Can anyone recommend a non oily scrub please? I’ve tried most of these and hate that oily feeling and slippery residue left in shower/bath (have slipped so many times) I have exfoliating gloves and Korean wash towels but sometimes it’s nice to use. Body scrub for a change too!

MooMinCow · 27/03/2022 11:45

Also can’t bear the ‘original’ Soap & Glory scent so that’s out too sadly!

Hobbes8 · 27/03/2022 11:55

I like the soap and glory sugar crush one. It has lime in it and smells like a mojito.

Agree. I love this.
Sosigsandwich · 27/03/2022 19:30

Some fab options thank you!

The dove ones are good
If you see them cheap on Amazon or know anyone in America then tree hut scrubs are the BEST. Foaming and gritty and no oil residue

NeedleNoodle3 · 27/03/2022 21:39

I like Body Shop Moringa scrub.

Scottishflower65 · 27/03/2022 21:54

Coffee grounds mixed with olive oil

Iamnotamermaid · 27/03/2022 21:59

Try UpCircle... their scrubs are usually pretty good

Chickydoo · 27/03/2022 22:06

Sanctuary one is fab and lasts ages

ChickenStripper · 28/03/2022 00:57

Rituals.

Kanaloa · 28/03/2022 04:24

I use a Tahitian vanilla sugar scrub I think it’s called. Absolutely lovely smelling!
